Command - Long Running Command Alarm
Notes:
- This alarm becomes active when a command on the Analysis Services server has been running for longer than a specified time frame. Because this time frame is unique to each environment, the Long Running Command alarm, by default, is not configured. See Configure the Command - Long Running Command Alarm for more information.
- This alarm applies to Analysis Services 2008 or later.
The Command - Long Running Command alarm becomes active when a command on the Analysis Services server has been running for longer than the specified time period.
When this alarms occurs, go to the Commands page on the Activity drilldown. Look at the Elapsed Time column to locate the long running command.
Tip: You can configure this alarm to ignore certain values. See "Configure an Alarm to Ignore Certain Values" (page 1) for more information.
