Whether you are restoring a Full Backup, Incremental Backup, or Differential Backup for a DAG, there are two options on the Restore and Recovery Options tab that you can select or clear depending on where you are in the restore process.
• |
Suspend database Replication before Restore: If this is the first restore that you are performing in the process of recovering a DAG environment, you must select this option. This ensures that replication is suspended and recovery continues. |
• |
Update database Replication after Recovery (Deletes Existing Files and Resumes Replication): If this is the last restore that you are performing in the process of recovering a DAG environment, you must select this option. This ensures that replication resumes and recovery continues. |
