The total command latency is less than 25 milliseconds.
The total command latency is 25 milliseconds or greater, but no greater than 34 milliseconds.
The total command latency is 35 milliseconds or greater, but no greater than 39 milliseconds.
The total command latency is 40 milliseconds or greater.

This rule fires when the total command latency (that is, the time taken during the collection interval to process a SCSI command issued by the guest OS to the virtual machine or the sum of kernelLatency and deviceLatency, based on data from the seven days prior to yesterday) of an ESX Server physical disk exceeds the normal operating range, using deviation.
The total command latency is no more than 2.2 standard deviations from the mean total command latency.
