Welcome to Foglight for SQL Server

Foglight^® for SQL Server allows DBAs to quickly and efficiently identify performance deviations, determine their root cause, perform comprehensive analyses, and resolve performance bottlenecks. The product provides web-enabled dashboards for centralized visibility, management and health checks for the SQL Server® instances deployed in your environment, as well as proactive alerting and alarm workflows for tracking your responses to critical performance anomalies.

Foglight for SQL Server is an n-tier application, which leverages a web-based user interface to ensure having complete visibility into the SQL Server infrastructure wherever an Internet connection is available.

New in this release

Version 5.9.3.20 contains the following new features and updates:

• Use BASH to stop/start Infobright instead of KSH when setting up a new PI repository.
• Enhanced Job Messages table in SQL Agent Jobs page to allow users to choose max records to be displayed in a given time period.
• Optimized "Availability Groups" collection to avoid submitting unusable data.
• Enhanced Agent Creation Wizard simple mode to support monitoring SQL server instance with enforced TLS 1.2.
• Enhanced the page loading performance  on FMS federation master when navigating Database dashboard with a large number of database instances being monitored.
