Updates to collections

Microsoft Entra ID discovery now collects Microsoft Secure Scores for users.

Support for Kerberos only environment

•

During installation, users can now specify a User or Service Principal Name which that enables the Enterprise Reporter Server, Nodes, Configuration, and Reporter Managers to utilize Kerberos authentication.

•

Alternate discovery credentials supported in a NTLM Disabled/Kerberos only environment.

Support for TLS 1.3 protocol


	NOTE: Enterprise Reporter supports TLS 1.3; however, TLS 1.2 is still required to be enabled on the SQL Server due to Microsoft SQL Server 2022 requirements.

Ability to select Strict Encryption for SQL Server to utilize TLS 1.3 for communication between the client and SQL server.

Certificate based authentication

•

Certificate based authentication is now used for the Exchange Online discovery. Discovery credentials are no longer required.

•

Certificate based authentication is now used to collect Microsoft Teams settings and policies. If a certificate is not registered policies and settings will not be collected.

•

Management of certificates for tenant applications is available in the Tenant Application Manager. There are features available to create a self-signed certificate, register a certificate or select an existing certificate.
