Getting Started with Foglight for Java EE Technologies
The Java Management Extensions (JMX) API is a standard application programming interface (API) for management and monitoring of resources such as applications, devices, services, and a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). Foglight for JMX uses this technology to collect and display JMX metrics from local and remote MBean servers.
Many Java EE system developers and production specialists need a JMX analysis tool because their application is not meeting specific performance requirements. Foglight for JMX is designed to help diagnose and solve performance issues in preproduction and production environments.
These Release Notes cover the resolved issues, known issues, workarounds, and other important information about the 5.9.8 release of Foglight for JMX. Review all sections before starting installation.
This release of Foglight for JMX does not include any new features.
