Customer is preparing a UPN/Domain change and needs to confirm how this will affect Quest On Demand services.
Quest On Demand determines the identification of administrators and consent-granting accounts primarily based on the email address, which is part of the User Principal Name (UPN). The email address is the primary entity to check On Demand Organization membership. Therefore, if there is a change in the UPN/Domain and the correct email addresses are not maintained, it may lead to access issues. In such a situation, a support case will need to be opened to validate the subscription owner's identity and make the appropriate corrections in the backend of the target organization to allow access again. Nevertheless, to avoid such issues or disruption, the subscription owner should add the email address(s) with the new UPN/Domain via RBAC to the On Demand organization and re-grant consents using the new identity before making the switch.
