CPU Usage Spikes Up To 100% Every Hour on Intel Xeon Bronze/Silver/Gold CPUs -
説明
CPU usage spikes to almost 100% for a few seconds once every hour on systems running the Rapid Recovery Agent. The issue is present on machines running Intel Xeon Gold/Silver/Bronze processors, such as Precision 7x20 Workstations or Dell PowerEdge servers.
This issue is present on servers running Rapid Recovery Agent. No Rapid Recovery functionality is affected by the CPU spikes. -
原因
The CPU spike occurs when the Rapid Recovery agent gathers BCD metadata via WMI calls. The CPU spikes occur regardless of whether Rapid Recovery makes the WMI call or the WMI call is initiated manually using Microsoft's wbemtest application. This has been given defect ID RR-107855. -
