To resolve the issue, please perform the following:
1) Navigate to c:\Program Files\AppRecovery\Core\Installers\ folder and verify that Agent-Web.EXE is present and it's having the same version as Core itself
2) Core console, Settings, Deploy. Please change name of executable there to Agent-Web.exe
3) Attempt to protect machine again.
