It is possible to reduce the size of vmover.ini file however it's important to note: never delete lines in vmover.ini using a text editor or alter it any other way manually. Lines in vmover.ini file are having dependency on the line above. Modifying it will break such dependency and permissions' processing will work incorrectly.
To create a smaller vmover.ini file for only specific migrated objects, please do the following:
- open RUM console and create a new collection, or use any existing one
- add any machine into it manually, if collection is new/empty. Do not run Discovery task
- right click the collection name and select "operate with selected accounts"
- select only necessary objects from the list of migrated objects
- right-click added machine and create a Processing task, specifying "I'll decide later" option, so task will not run
- switch to Tasks tab on the right pane, right-click newly created Processing task and select "Export to INI". Save it as vmover.ini
