説明
The following error may be encountered during a ReACL:
Result code: 0 Unable to update Registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\vdsp': System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): RegGetKeySecurity: The data area passed to a system call is too small -
原因
The admin account does not have adequate local permissions to the registry key. -
対策
This indicates we are not able to access the registry key. This can be worked around by excluding this registry key so it will not be processed during ReACL. This can be done from Device ReACL Profile.- Go to the Product Active Directory dashboard
- Setup | Profiles | ReACL Profiles
- Select the Profile and click Edit
- Click through wizard to second screen.
- Add the following keys to the 'Exclude these registry keys from processing' field, multiple entries must be separated by a new line:
- Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes
- Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SECURITY
