To identify and remove duplicate hosts:
- Run the diagnostic script (users must be logged into Supportlink to download the attachment)
- Navigate to Administration | Tooling | Script Console
- Go to the Script tab and click Add
- Upload and run the attached script
- The script will list duplicate host entries
- Remove duplicate agents
- Go to Administration | Agents | Agent Status
- Search for the duplicate agents listed in the script output
- Deactivate the unwanted duplicate agent(s)
- Click Delete to remove them
- Clean up remaining agent and host objects
- Go to Administration | Management Server | Servers | Object Cleanup
- In the left panel, select Agent
- On the right panel, find the deleted agent(s) and click Delete
- In the left panel, select Host
- On the right panel, find and delete the duplicate host(s)
After these steps, the duplicate host entries should be removed from the Infrastructure dashboard.
