Both instances were configured with the same host name when they actually reside on different physical nodes. In addition they where configured using the service name.
With this configuration, each Oracle agent connects to the RAC but not necessarily to the correct node and both agents committed their data to the same topology.
The result of this configuration is that Foglight does not actually know from which node it sees the data from. The last agent that wrote the data will have its name was shown in the database dashboard (global view).
Unless each DB agent is configured to connect to each individual RAC node from the Agent Manager using the physical host name (or IP address) and SID, the agent configuration will not be correct and the collect data will not be reliable.
