In certain situations, it may be necessary to install the Management Console on top of itself.
This could include creating new databases, or repairing files.
If the Management Console is not correctly installing on top of itself
An error message may be displayed that shows:
A registry key on the Management Console needs to be deleted.
On the Desktop Authority Manager server, delete the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\5e71d580-69a7-4e0b-9e4b-58e22bf7a7c3
The Management Console should then be able to install over itself and create a new registry key.
If this does not resolve the issue please contact Technical Support.
