WORKAROUND: Spotlight does not support Analysis Services (SSAS) on a fail over cluster. The Linked OS field in the Spotlight SSAS connection has no “Cluster” selection. So, set the Linked OS field to the current active node. Then manually switch the Linked OS once the cluster fail over occurs.
STATUS: Enhancement request has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
