How do you launch SQL Tuning when in Toad for SQL Server?

I cannot launch Tuning. Sometimes it is grayed out on the tool bar.

SQL Tuning can be launched either from the Editor Toolbar or from Tools | SQL Tuning. If launching throught the Editor you will need to type something into the editor before this option is enabled on the toolbar. Whatever is written in the editor is automatically carried over into Tuning. If launching though the Tools menu, SQL Tuning will open and there will be nothing carried over. From here you would need to type in the query in the SQL Query section (the center pane).
