Is there a way to convert Query Builder (.tsm) files to .sql files?
説明
This article explains how to use the attached ExtractSQLFromQB.exe utility, which converts Query Builder (.tsm) files to .sql files.
対策
The attached ExtractSQLFromQB.exe utility, which is a command line tool, will convert all .tsm files in a directory to a .sql file. If you have multiple .tsm files you want to convert, you can either move them all to the same directory and run it once or run it multiple times, once for each directory that contains your .tsm file. The utility will go through the specified directory and all subdirectories looking for *.tsm files. It will extract the SQL and put into a *.SQL file of the same name. This new file will be in the same directory as the original *.tsm.
Note: This utility supports .tsm files that were created in Toad for Data Analysts (TDA)/Toad Data Point (TDP) v2.5 and newer. Before v2.5 there was a different format and the SQL was not stored in the file. So, any file saved from TDA/TDP 2.5 or earlier will not be converted.
1) Extract and save the utility (ExtractSQLFromQB.exe) to your local machine. 2) Open a command prompt. 3) In the command prompt, type the path where the utility is located, including the utility name (ExtractSQLFromQB.exe), all in double quotes. After that, type the path where the .tsm files are located that you want to convert, also in double quotes. So, for example, if ExtractSQLFromQB.exe is in C:\Utility and the .tsm files are located in C:\QBtoSQL_Convert, the command you would enter in the command prompt would be…
4) After this is complete, you will see the original .tsm files and the new .sql files in the C:\QBtoSQL_Convert directory. You can open the new .sql file in Toad Data Point and it will display the query in an Editor window.
