The CAM proxy supports TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and 1.2 so disabling TLS 1.0 and 1.1 should not cause an issue.
The CAM STS requires TLS 1.0 and this is used to connect to the database. (Users do not interact with the STS, as everything goes through the proxy.)
TFS 797042 has been raised for TLS1.2 support for the STS.
