This article provides the basic steps changing the NIC on VMWare from the 100 Mbps Flexible vNIC to a gigabit Intel e1000 vNIC. VMware Server only lets you create an e1000 network adapter if it is identified as a 64-bit operating system.
対策
Shut down your RSA.
Upgrade the virtual hardware to the latest version.
Change the virtual machine OS to FreeBSD 64-bit.
Delete the current network adapter (Flexible NIC).
Create a new network adapter (you can verify that it is an E1000 by going into the NIC details).
Change the OS to back to its original setting (FreeBSD 32-bit). (Please note: Remote Site Appliance 4.x will be 64-bit so it should be listed as FreeBSD 64-bit)
Power on the RSA.
Log in to the konsole with username: konfig and password: konfig
Change the IP address to something else temporarily and change the NIC speed to 1000 Mbps Full-Duplex. Save your changes, and it will reboot the RSA.
NOTE: You must change the IP address so that it properly assigns the address to the new adapter.
Log in with username: konfig and password: konfig
Change the IP address back to your desired IP, save, and the RSA will reboot.
