When installing Quest NDS Migrator, the following error occurs:
"Error 1609. An error occurred while applying security settings. <USERNAME/GROUPNAME> is not a valid user or group. This could be a problem with the package, or a problem connecting to a domain controller on the network. Check your network connection and click Retry, or Cancel to end the install."
To resolve this issue, verify that the 'USERNAME' or 'GROUPNAME' mentioned in the error does indeed exist. If it does not, then create the named object and perform the install again.
