User has found a utility program called CodeSite inside the SQL Optimizer for Oracle directory. Is this program a part of SQL Optimizer? If so, is this an open source or license required? Would it effect to SQL Optimizer if CodeSite program is uninstalled?
CodeSite was a 3rd party component used for Support Bundle logging in the older versions of SQL Optimizer. The current release of SQL Optimizer does not use this component. At time it was used, this was a licensed component.
As of 2009, SQL Optimizer has replaced this component with SQL Optimizer's own logging technique.
If in case an older version of SQL Optimizer is, uninstalling CodeSite would make SQL Optimizer malfunction.
