Note: If you have more than one InTrust server, you need to perform the same steps on each InTrust server (one by one)
WARNING: In-Place Upgrade 11.6 will not support Server, Default & Extended Suite. Also, you will need your existing organization password, or else, you won't be able to upgrade and a new fresh installation will need to be done. To reset your organization password while still having access to the existing instance (BEFORE you upgrade), see the instructions below:

Steps to upgrade:
- Make sure you have performed a full backup of the InTrust Configuration database (InTrust_Cfg_DB) in SQL Server.
- Uninstall the old version of the resource kit.
- Install the new resource kit.
- With the Quest InTrust services still up and running, run the FIPSmigrator tool. under Program Files(x86)\Quest\InTrust\Server\ADC\SupportTools
- Stop all Quest InTrust server services.
- Proceed to Uninstall all InTrust components from Control Panel > Programs and Features (including the resource kit installed in step 2)
- Clear the temp folder (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp).
- From IIS Manager, do a right-click on the "ITMonitoring" website within the Application Pool and remove it.
- Restart the server.
- Using an elevated cmd prompt, browse to the extracted installation files path and Install the Extended Suite (for 11.5.1 only), or corresponding installation executable Launcher (mainly for 11.6.x) from the Suite folder, select the existing SQL databases for InTrust, and join the existing organization with the corresponding password.
- After completing the installation and the services are up and running, rerun the FIPSmigrator tool.
- Restart the InTrust server or services one last time.
