WORKAROUNDThe XML definition of the rule can me modified to activate or deactivate the undefined severity and then imported back to the Foglight Management Server.
- Export the monitoring policy to an XML file.
$FGLHOME/bin/fglcmd.{.sh or .bat} -usr foglight -pwd foglight -cmd util:configexport -f $FGLHOME/name_of_file.xml
- Edit the file to only include the definition of the rule to be modified and required XML tags; for example:
- For the unconditional-severity level="-1" tag, add the parameter disabled="true" to deactivate; for example:
- Import the monitoring policy XML.
$FGLHOME/bin/fglcmd.{.sh or .bat} -usr foglight -pwd foglight -cmd util:configimport -f $FGLHOME/name_of_file.xml
