How to allow a DL Appliance to use a software license -
説明
In some cases it may be advantageous to change the license model on a DL Appliance from the DL Appliance hardware specific license to a generic Rapid Recovery Software license. However, the DL Appliance by default will not accept a generic software license and prevents it's use. -
原因
This license restriction is hard coded into the DL Appliance software and can only be modified with a patch. -
対策
To apply a generic Rapid Recovery software license to a DL Appliance:
- Upgrade the DL appliance to Rapid Recovery 6.4
- Install patch P-2587
- Open the core console and go to the licensing section of the Core settings page
- Click the change license button and select your generic Rapid Recovery software license
