Active Administrator console fails to launch with the error: "An error occurred while attempting to connect to the AFS server. A network-related or instance- specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found o (4282381)

When launching Active Administrator console the following error is shown:

- Check if  Active Administrator Foundation Service is running. Try restarting the service in Active Administrator Server Manager.

- Ensure that port 15600 (AFS default port) is not blocked on the Active Administrator server. You can check which port has been assigned to AFS or change it in Active Administrator Server Manager.

- Check if you can establish a telnet session from Active Administrator server to the database server. Open the Command Prompt and enter the following command:

telnet [SQL Server Name] 1433
