In Toad version 7.4, users could easily update boolean values directly within the result set of a SQL query. By simply clicking the checkbox in the results pane, the value would toggle between 0 and 1 (unchecked/checked), and Toad would automatically execute the update for the record in the background.
In the newer version 8.0, this functionality is no longer available. Clicking the checkbox or field to change a boolean value no longer works. This issue impacts the ability to efficiently update boolean data directly from the query results interface.
"Show data as read-only" option is enabled by default in version 8.0.
The problem was happening with all data types, not just booleans, so the user could not update any data in the result set.
