While trying to extend or expand the repository it asks for network credentials, even though the repository is local. -

The repository was created originally in a network location and then moved locally. -

In order to fix this situation we need to change a registry key related to the repository. To do so, please follow these steps:
1) Stop the Core service2) Open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\Repositories\XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX\FileConfigurations\0\Specification3) Change the key "CreateOnCifs" from 1 to 04) Start the Core service back5) Wait until the repository is mountedYou should be able to extent the repository now without any problems.
