Newly created replications never start and stay "Disconnected" (4043926)

Newly created replications get in the following state:

Peer Status                     : Disconnected 
Replication State               : UNKNOWN

One or more IP addresses used to configure the replication are incorrect.

Connect to QoreStor using SSH and log in with qsservice or root account.

Use the following commands to check the ip addresses set for the replication:

replication --show --verbose [--name <container_name>]

stats --replication --name <container_name>

Make a backup copy of /etc/hosts

cp /etc/hosts /etc/hosts.bak

Open /etc/hosts with a text editor and remove any line that might be pointing to the wrong ip. Then save the changes and exit.

Delete the current replication by taking the following steps:

• Stop the replication on both servers with

  replication --stop --name <container_name> --role <source|target>

• Force remove the replication on both servers with

  replication --delete --name <container_name> --role <source|target> --force

Recreate the replication
