When viewing the status of some mailbox the message "System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8004010F): The client operation failed. - MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND" is displayed.
Upon inspecting the MAgE (Migration Agent for Exchange) log this error is preceded by the following message in the log file:
Warning SRC(Mapi) Journal The client operation failed. - MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND (Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store) Low level error: 0x0 File: 'aeMAPIProp.cpp' Line: '104'

Causa
The MAgE agent is processing the mailbox and in this instance it's going through the "wellknownfoldersids". This warning is through because MAPI returns an error for the folder, in this case the journal folder.
When you view the Inbox of the problem mailbox with MFCMAPI the property from the Journal folder "PR_IPM_JOURNAL_ENTRYID" is not present in the inbox as it should be or the folder Journal is missing. -
Risoluzione
In order for this property to be inserted back into the mailbox you must open the problem mailbox with "Outlook.exe /resetfolders" from the command line. PLease make sure the cached mode for the mailbox in question is disabled by the time you run OUtlook with /resetfolders parameter.
