In order to use this feature, make sure that a Barcode Tag is created for the Asset Type that is going to be used for barcode scanning.
To check if one is created, go to Asset Management | Asset Types | Select your Asset Type. Under Barcode Tags, click on the "+" sign, add a name and click save at the bottom of the page.
On the KACE GO App, touch Assets on the Home screen, and the "Perform Bulk Operation" button will now show up. After touching it, it will ask if you want to:
In this case, we are using the create multiple assets. Select the Asset Type, and below select the corresponding Barcode Tag.
After touching Next, this takes us to the camera, with one side of the screen that displays the assets that are being scanned. When finished, touch "Done"
The first time that a bulk scan is done, it will prompt to create a template for the asset fields that these assets will use.
Before the assets are created, they need to have all required fields, which in most cases, will need to be added a Name.
After touching "Apply Changes", it will confirm once it's finished with a green check.
