To disabled a service using SC.EXE command-line utility follow the next steps:
1- Open the Desktop Authority Manager console and navigate to: Profiles | User tab.
2- Expand the desired user profile.
3- Select the Application Launcher object and click +Add at the right pane.
4- Enter the following information on the new element (see Image 1 below):
File name including path: $DllDir\SC.EXE
Arguments: CONFIG Service_Name start= disabled (Note: Space between start and disabled is important)
Miscellaneous options: Select Run as administrator and select Hide any screen output .
Enter any other information or settings like Validation logic or Validation Logic Rules. It's recommended to use the Validation Logic Rules to test with one machine or one user prior to push the new element to all the machines.
5- Click Save
6- Click Replicate changed files (default) at the bottom left corner.
7- Login to one machine for testing. And verify the service status is Disabled.
