Deleting data objects
When deleting an object, the topology object is immediately removed from the tree, including all of its children. A data object may be removed, for example, if old data referencing a decommissioned host exists. If an object that is still active is deleted, it will be re-created.
Purging data objects
Use the purge feature if the topology object should be kept for an additional for a nightly cycle. Within a 24 hour period, the data object should be gone from the topology tree.
