Unable to use Send SNMP Trap Action from Data Driven rules (4293979)

Unable to use Send SNMP Trap Action from File System Capacity rule. Following error in FMS log is observed:

WARN [Action-4-thread-14] com.quest.nitro.service.action.ActionService - Failed to invoke action: Send SNMP Trap Action ({foglight_rule_id=ce52d2e1-6cb2-49a8-b035-a46749db8251, foglight_severity_level_name=Fatal, foglight_rule_name=File System Capacity} com.quest.nitro.service.action.api.ActionInvocationException: java.lang.NullPointerException).

Starting from Foglight 5.9.5, Send SNMP Trap Action is only listed for Event Driven rules that listen for AlarmSystemEvent.

Send SNMP Trap Action is not intended to work with Data Driven rules, only for Event Driven rules.

File System Capacity rule is a Data Driven rule

Rules have four types of triggers: 

• data 
• time
• event 
• schedule

• If a rule has a data-driven trigger, one or more of its conditions are evaluated every time the data associated with the rule is collected. This is the default trigger.  
• A time-driven trigger causes one or more of a rule’s conditions to be evaluated once per pre-defined interval. By default, Foglight evaluates time-driven rules only if the evaluation data is available.  
• Event-driven triggers cause the rule conditions to be evaluated as a response to one of the following events: AgentManagementSystemEvent, AlarmSystemEvent, or ReportGeneratedEvent.  
• Schedule-driven triggers cause the rule conditions to be evaluated during a selected schedule. 

This is by design, Send SNMP Trap Action is intended to be used with Event Driven rules.
