Record Severity alarm truncates the alarm message if the matching string is too long. How to increase the output? (4255280)

Trying to setup the alarm to receive the full matching string from the Record Severity alarm but the log message and email message are being truncated due to the length of the matching string.

There is a set of registry variables that apply limits to the rule messages.

When there are matching log records, by default the "Record Severity" rule generates the mail message with 5 records, a message length of 100 characters for 3 files at most. The variables below can be adjusted accordingly.

Go to Dashboard | Administration | Rules & Notifications | Manage Registry Variables, edit and change values for:

• INF_LogMonitoredRecordSeverityMaxRecordDetailCount
• INF_LogMonitoredRecordSeverityMaxFileDetailCount
• INF_LogMonitoredRecordTextMaxLength
