Cannot connect to archive database after upgrading. Receive error in console "The selected database is not a valid Active Administrator database" -
Causa
The DB version has not been updated in the archive database. A new archive should have the correct value, however an archive from an older AA instance may fail. For an active archive we would need the database version to match the version of Active Administrator. -
Risoluzione
Check the version of the archive DB using the SQL Query against the database in SQL management studio
"SELECT [dbo].[GetDBVersion] ()"
The SQL scripts to upgrade the DB are shipped with the version that you are upgrading to and can be found under "..\program files\Quest\Active Administrator\Server"
