Agents may need to be manually uninstalled in certain situations.
Causes include agents installed on a system behind a firewall, and agents still installed after the InTrust server was removed.
In order to uninstall Windows agents:
1) Log on to the target computer using a local administrator account.
2) Open a command prompt and browse to C:\Winnt\ADCAgent (Windows NT 4 or 2000) or C:\Windows\ADCAgent (Windows 2003). If you manually installed the agent to a different directory or your system path is different, you can search for "adcscm.nt_intel.exe" to find the proper folder.
3) Run the following command:
adcscm.nt_intel -uninstall.
4) You may remove the ADCAgent folder from your system manually at this point or reboot the machine to allow the installer to finish removing it.
NOTE: Uninstalling the agent automatically unregisters it from all registered InTrust servers.
