Notes Integration Upgrade Steps:
Once you have restarted NI, it is necessary to upgrade the design of NI-specific databases.
See “Section 10: Create and Configure Domino Databases” of the Notes Integration BTCal Users Guide for detailed information regarding the various database templates utilized by Notes Integration to fulfill its functionality. The templates correspond to various features of Notes Integration that may or may not be configured for your site.
We recommend that you locate all the templates listed in the document in the Domino server’s \Data directory and sign them either with the server’s ID or your company’s preferred ECL signing ID. Best practice is to sign all the templates in the event you decide to enable additional Notes Integration functions as a result of your upgrade.
As the design of some of the templates have changed in order to support added functionality and to resolve product issues within Notes Integration, we recommend that you replace the design of any of the following databases that exist in your environment with the appropriate templates:
All design templates are upward compatible so no existing functionality of these databases will be impacted by the design replace.
