How to upgrade or update the Binary Tree servers to make sure they are using TLS 1.2?

Answer

The connection from Windows Coexistence Server to/from O365 happens via HTTP on the IIS server. The BT application does not directly control the interface or protocol used.

Instead we suggest that you tweak the REGEDIT settings on the host via disabling the other secure protocol and keep only TLS 1.2 active/enabled.

Restart the server and verify FreeBusy continues to work Domino to O365.

Note

There are also some SSL 2.0 & SSL 3.0 available under protocols which can/should be disabled if still available on the host platform.
