Access Denied error when configuring configuration store using SQL.

Service account is member of Enterprise Admin group and it does have SYSADMIN rights on the target SQL Server. However, when trying to configure the GPOADmin Configuration Store by specifying SQL server name and database name and click next it fails with "Access Denied" error.

Default SQL port 1433 not open, or a custom port is open, but was not specified in the configuration store wizard.

To be able to properly configure version configuration store:

1- You must logon to the GPOADmin server using an account that is member of the Enterprise Admin group and must have SYSADMIN rights on the target SQL server to run the configuration manager wizard.
2- Make sure that the default SQL port 1433 is open, or if you are using a custom port instead, then specify this custom port number next to the SQL Server name in the configuration manager wizard by typing the SQLServerInstanceName,CustomPortNumber like for example:
