After accidentally unpinning the Output window, it started appearing as a floating window over the Editor. The pin icon used to dock it back is no longer visible, and attempts to restore it manually are unsuccessful. This issue prevents the Output window from being anchored to its original position within the Toad interface.
To re-dock the Output window, follow the steps below:
Drag the Output window down toward the bottom of the Toad interface. When Toad highlights or suggests an area to dock the window, release the mouse button. The Output window should now be docked again, and the pin icon will become visible.
If the first step does not work, right-click on the menu toolbar at the top of Toad and select “Restore desktop defaults.”
This will reset the Toad workspace layout to its default configuration, restoring all panels (including the Output window) to their original positions.
