The following error is received when attempting to perform a Check Out in Toad Team Coding:
"cvs [edit aborted]: current directory (C:\MyDBProjects\scross\(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=LOR00334VIP.COV.VIRGINIA.GOV)(PORT=1521))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=TEALDEV1)))\IPAL\PROCEDURE) contains an invalid character (+,>;=\t\n)"
WORKAROUND 1:
Do not use Direct type of connection; use the TNS tab in the login screen instead. Also do not use Sub-Folders in your VCS Project. You will need to re-create your VCS Project as well after the change.
WORKAROUND 2:
When setting up Team Coding, you can change the Parent Folder name on the Team Projects dialog. If user changes the name there, then user should not have a problem anymore because it won't include any special characters that would prevent check-out.
