Description

In Toad 12.7 the following error message appears when trying to copy and paste in the editor, when the ClipX tool is also in used on the machine:

'System Error. Code 1418: Thread does not have a clipboard open'
Also an 'Access Denied' error can occur when pressing Ctrl + C in the Editor
Résolution

WORKAROUND:
Go to View | Toad Options | Editor | Behavior | Untick 'Copy text in rich text format'

STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle
