Access Violation Error and ORA-06453 error when debugging code
Description

When debugging some code in the editor, if you start the debug session and then edit some of the code and continue debugging, an Access Violation error appears, and also the error 'ORA-06453: PL/SQL: error in execution - execution aborted'. After this point, Toad crashes and has to be stopped in the Task Manager.
Cause

This is an Oracle related issue, which causes an error in Toad. Oracle doesn't support changes to the code once a debugging session has begun.
Résolution

WORKAROUND:
Edit the code prior to the debug session.

STATUS:
The defect ID CR116989 has been raised for Toad to more gracefully handle this issue when it arises.
