If you enter the following in an Editor window:
1. Text
2. Code1
3. Code2
When you search for "Code", the first result will point to line 2.
F3 (find next) will point to line 3.
Pressing F3 again will give "Search string * not found" (wrap = Off).
In previous versions of Toad, after clicking in line 1, or pressing Ctrl-Home, F3 goes to line 2.
In the latest version the behaviour is as follows :
- Press Ctrl-Home to get to line 1
- Press F3 --> gives line 2 as expected
- Press Ctrl-Home or click in line 1
- Press F3 --> gives line 3 while line 2 would be expected.
Only when F3 is pressed until the "Search string * not found" occurs, followed by Ctrl-home or clicking somewhere in the text, will F3 start at the new cursor position.
Instead of starting at the cursor position, 'Find Next' seems to use the previously found line as a starting position.
