I. For Toad for Oracle 9.7 or Below:
This information is stored in the "Toad.ini" file.
For Toad for Oracle 9.6 or below - (C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files)
For Toad for Oracle 9.7:
Windows XP or lower - (C:\Documents and Settings\<User_Name>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7\User Files\)
Windows Vista or 7 - (C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7\User Files\)
1. Open the "Toad.ini" file in notepad.
2. Search for the word "Network".
You'll find a section with headings like [Network Utilities], [Network Connection Types], [Network host names], [Network ports], [Network host user names], etc. That is basically the info for your previous FTP connection. You can remove the information from here and it should remove it from Toad's drop down list in the FTP utility.
II. For Toad for Oracle 10.x
This information is stored in the "NetworkConnections.dat" file.
Windows XP or lower - (C:\Documents and Settings\<User_Name>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.X or 11.X\User Files\)
Windows Vista or 7 - (C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.x\User Files\)
1. Open the file in notepad.
2. Edit the appropriate information.
NOTE: If you have reset your Toad to factory defaults, the "NetworkConnections.dat" file is the file you can copy over to the 'new' User Files folder of Toad, if you want to get back those settings.
III. For Toad for Oracle 11 and above please go to Toad menu | View | Toad Options | Network Utilities | Host, select the FTP connection you want to delete and then click on Delete.
