Toad is configured for Team Coding with Visual SourceSafe 2005 without usage of Code Collection Groups. A procedure is checked out and changed and checked back in Toad. When this code is then compiled/executed in SQLPlus the following error occurs:
"SP2-0734: unknown command beginning “ create…” rest of line ignored."
When viewing this procedure code in a Hex Editor tool, there are three characters at the very beginning of code displayed as "" (in hex: EF BB BF). These characters were inserted by Toad at the time of check in and they are referred to as BOM (Byte Order Mark) characters.
