I am using Toad for Data Point's local storage and I am multiplying two fields. Example, I am multiplying 0.491803279 * 2,593,373 and it is returning .98 as the answer and it should be 1275429.345070067. The fields are varchar but I tried to cast as float and it would not allow me to or I have the syntax wrong.
Having the commas included in one of the numbers is throwing off the value.
Make sure that there are no commas included as the value of the number.
