I'm trying to reverse engineer to a MySQL 5.5 database and when I get to the step to enter in the MySQL database connection information, I get the following error upon connecting:
# 08S01 Bad handshake
Even if I just try to connect within Toad Data Modeler, I get the same error.
The error is caused by a faulty UniDAC third party component.
