VMW Distributed Virtual Switch Packet Loss

This rule checks the levels of packet loss on VMware distributed virtual switches.

Conditions	State	Action
The levels of packet loss on all monitored distributed virtual switches matches the percentage set by the VMW:DistributedVirtualSwitchPacketLoss.warning variable. The global default value of this variable is 0, meaning that in a default installation the packet loss on each of the monitored distributed virtual switches is 0%.	Normal	None
The level of packet loss of a distributed virtual switch is higher than the percentage set by the VMW:DistributedVirtualSwitchPacketLoss.warning variable. The global default value of this variable is 0 meaning that in a default installation a Warning alarm is generated if the packet loss on a distributed virtual switch is higher than 0%	Warning	None
The level of packet loss of a distributed virtual switch reached the percentage set by the VMW:DistributedVirtualSwitchPacketLoss.critical variable.
