Reading a project with PeopleSoft 8.52, the description and comment fields are overwritten or lost.

Cause

You did not archive the PSoft project (the one that contains the comments). Most probably what you did was tell Stat to create a project using the same name as the PSoft project.

Résolution

SOLUTION
1. Create a Project in PS with its Description and Comment.
2. From Stat Client from the CSR PeopleSoft Tab | Advance Select the Server where PS database sits.
For example PS PROD where the project has been created and stored.
3. In the Object Type select the propetary PS object as Project selecting from the list your project.
In this way the project will be copied to the Stage database. Then when it will be migrated it will have the description and comment.
4. From Application Designer connect to the target database and open the project to verify it.
